D.C. United snatched all three points from Inter Miami in a narrow 1-0 victory on Sunday, at Audi Field. Following today’s result, D.C. and Inter sit 6th and 11th places with 12 points and 8 points respectively.
After an un-eventful first half,
D.C. applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Kamara in the 73rd minute. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 1-0 to D.C.
For D.C., Nyeman, Robertha, Griffin Yow, Mora and Brillant, came on for Felipe Martins, Perez, Kamara, Paredes and Julian Gressel. Inter replaced Ulloa, Leerdam, Jones and Higuaín with Chapman, Morgan, Makoun and Brek Shea.
The referee booked Paredes and Felipe Martins from D.C. Inter had the worst of it though, with Makoun, Carranza, Gregore and Jones seeing yellow, and Gregore (2 yellow cards) and Shawcross then sent off with a red.
