Luton Town snatched all three points from Sheffield Wednesday in a 3-2 victory on Saturday, at Kenilworth Road. Sheffield Wednesday, on the other hand, were beaten 3-0 in the previous match against Brentford. Sheffield Wednesday started the game well, thanks to a goal from Josh Windass in the early minutes of the first 45 minutes. Later, Sheffield Wednesday took the lead with a goal form another goal from Josh Windass, scoring his second goal in the 42nd minute just before half-time, thereby seeing the first half to a 2-0.

Luton Town staged a comeback in the second half, beginning with early goal from Kal Naismith in the 50th minute. Later, their lead was short lived, as an equalizer from a goal from Ryan Tunnicliffe, 58 minutes in brought Luton Town level. Later, Luton Town scored again and turned the match thanks to a goal from Elijah Adebayo in the 86th minute just before the final whistle, sealing a resounding 3-2 victory for the home side.
