Luton Town fell to a home defeat at the hands of Cardiff at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday. Both Luton Town and Cardiff City arrived fresh from some positive results. Luton Town were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run, following a 1-0 victory against Birmingham City while Cardiff City were coming from consecutive wins against Coventry City and Rotherham United. At the moment, Luton Town are currently 15th with 37 points from 30 matches, while Cardiff City sit in 7th, with 43 points from 30.
After a goalless first half, Cardiff City started the second half on an intensified spirit, thanks to Harry Wilson opening the scoring, 53 minutes in. Later, Cardiff City took the lead with a goal form a goal from Will Vaulks, 57 minutes in, sealing a resounding 2-0 victory for the away side.
