On Sunday, Dijon suffer an away defeat to Lille at Stade Pierre Mauroy. Lille OSC were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games in the league. The most recent was against the Stade Rennais away (1-0), the other to Stade de Reims at home (2-1) while Dijon FCO had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with RC Strasbourg. As the table looks today, Lille OSC are in 1st place, with 48 points from 22 matches, while Dijon FCO sit in 19th, with 15 points from 22.

Lille OSC started well with, following Yusuf Yazici opening the scoring in the 29th minute, thereby seeing the first half to a 1-0. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 1-0.

For Lille OSC Tiago Djalo, Jonathan Ikone, Renato Sanches, Xeka and Tim Weah came on for Zeki Celik, Yusuf Yazici, Boubakary Soumare, Jonathan Bamba and Jonathan David, while Dijon replaced Roger Assale, Jordan Marie, Sacha Boey, Bersant Celina and Mama Balde for Eric Ebimbe, Frederic Sammaritano, Chafik, Mihai Dobre and Moussa Konate.

There were bookings for Botman Sven and Xeka from Lille and Ngonda Muzinga and Chafik for Dijon.

Lille OSC will next travel to FC Girondins de Bordeaux, while Dijon FCO will face Olympique Lyonnais at home.
