Paris Saint-Germain fell to an away defeat at the hands of Rennes at the Roazhon Park on Sunday. Rennes were looking for a victory after a 1-1 draw against Bordeaux whilst PSG were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Montpellier and FC Metz. Rennes started the first half well, with Gaetan Laborde giving The Rennais the lead in the 45th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Flavien Tait made it 2-0 just before half-time. The score at half time was 2-0. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 2-0.

For Rennes, Sehrou Guirassy, Lorenz Assignon, Baptiste Santamaria and Lesley Ugochukwu, came on for Martin Terrier, Benjamin Bourigeaud, Jonas Martin and Flavien Tait. PSG brought on Mauro Icardi, Georginio Wijnaldum and Ander Herrera, to replace Neymar, Marco Verratti and Idrissa Gueye.
