Sunday’s fixture between Reims and Montpellier delivered a goalless draw at the Stade Auguste Delaune. Reims wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with St Etienne in their previous game while Montpellier were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Rennes and Lyon. As the table looks today, Reims and Montpellier are 13th, (31 points) and 7th, (39 points), in the league respectively, after 27 matches.

Both coaches made full use of their substitutions. For Reims Arber Zeneli, Valon Berisha and El Bilal Toure came on for Moussa Doumbia, Nathanael Mbuku and Moreto Cassama, while Montpellier brought on Sepe Elye Wahi, Joris Chotard and Arnaud Souquet to replace Petar Skuletic, Florent Mollet and Stephy Mavididi.

There were bookings for Boulaye Dia from Reims and Vitorino Hilton for Montpellier.

Reims will next travel to Nantes, while Montpellier will face Lorient at home.
