PSG 4 – Cleermont 0- Les Parisiens secure all 3 points at the Parc des Princes

Paris Saint-Germain strolled past Clermont Foot with a 4-0 win on Saturday at the Parc des Princes. PSG were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two matches against Reims away and Brest away, by 2-0 and 4-2 respectively. Cleermont, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with FC Metz. After today’s result, PSG are in 1st place, with 15 points from 5 matches, while Cleermont sit in 3rd, with 8 points from 5.

Les Parisiens started well, with Ander Herrera opening the rout, 20 minutes in. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a second effort from Ander Herrera, at 31 minutes, to take a 2-0 lead into half time.

PSG started the second half with an intensified spirit, with a goal from Kylian Mbappe at the 55 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Idrissa Gueye made it 4-0 at the 65 minute mark with a final score of 4-0.

For PSG, Eric Ebimbe, Thilo Kehrer, Mauro Icardi, Nathan Bitumazala and Nuno Mendes, came on for Idrissa Gueye, Achraf Hakimi, Kylian Mbappe, Presnel Kimpembe and Julian Draxler. Cleermont brought on Saif-Eddine Khaoui, Elbasan Rashani, Jean-Claude Billong, Jordan Tell and Jonathan Iglesias, to replace Jason Berthomier, Jim Allevinah, Florent Ogier, Jodel Dossou and Johan Gastien.

The referee booked one player from Cleermont, Akim Zedadka.

PSG next face Lyon and Cleermont are at home to Brest.
