Reims, on the other hand, were unable to beat FC Lorient in a 0-0 draw. After today’s result, Lille are in 13th place, with 8 points from 7 matches, while Reims sit in 15th, with 7 points from 7.
It was an impressive opening from Lille, with Jonathan David finding the net at the 31 minute mark. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Benjamin Andre just before half-time and seeing the first half out 2-0.
The Red and Whites took the initiative in the second half, thanks to a goal from Alexis Flips at the 74 minute mark and seeing the game end 2-1.
