Lorient 1 – Cleermont 1- The Merlucciidaes denied all 3 points at the Stade Yves Allainmat

On Sunday, Lorient and Cleermont were held to a 1-1 draw at the Stade Yves Allainmat. Lorient arrived with the intention of increasing their league score following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Lyon in their previous game. Cleermont, on the other hand, were beaten 3-1 in the previous match against AS Mónaco. After today’s result, Lorient and Cleermont currently occupy 7th and 15th spots in the league, with 14 points and 10 points respectively after 9 matches.

Cleermont started the game well, thanks to Mohamed Bayo giving Cleermont the lead in the 15th minute and seeing the first half out 0-1.

Lorient started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with Julien Laporte finding the net at the 54 minute mark. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.

Lorient brought on Stephane Diarra, Dango Ouattara, Theo Le Bris and Quentin Boisgard for Enzo Le Fee, Terem Moffi, Thomas Monconduit and Armand Lauriente. Cleermont brought on Jordan Tell and Jonathan Iglesias, to replace Jodel Dossou and Jason Berthomier.

There were bookings for Moritz Jenz and Julien Laporte from Lorient. For Cleermont, Johan Gastien saw yellow.

Lorient will next travel to Olympique de Marseille, while Cleermont will face Lille at home.
