Mazatlán made a fine start in the new Liga MX de Apertura season with win against Cruz Azul. Today’s result, Cruz Azul and Mazatlán currently occupy 16th and 4th spots in the league, with 0 points and 3 points respectively after 1 match.
It was an impressive opening from Mazatlán, thanks to Nicolas Diaz giving Cañoneros the lead just before half-time, seeing out the first half 0-1.
