Leicester snatched all three points from Fulham in a 2-0 victory on Wednesday, at Craven Cottage. Fulham were looking for a victory after a 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion. Leicester City, on the other hand, were beaten 3-1 in the previous match against Leeds United. After today’s result, Fulham are in 18th place on the table and has 14 points while Leicester City sit in 3rd with 42 points after 22 matches.
Leicester City dominated the first half, thanks to a goal from Kelechi Iheanacho, 17 minutes in. Later, Leicester City took the lead with a goal form a goal from James Michael Justin in the 44th minute just before half-time to secure a 2-0 win. Both teams struggled to produce anything in the second half and the game ended 2-0.
Both managers used allfull available substitutions. For Fulham, Mario Lemina, Ivan Cavaleiro and Bobby Reid came on for Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Kenny Tete and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, while Leicester brought on Marc Albrighton, Nampalys Mendy and Daniel Amartey to replace Ayoze Perez, Hamza Choudhury and Harvey Barnes.
There were bookings for Harrison Reed, Ola Aina and Ivan Cavaleiro from Fulham and Nampalys Mendy for Leicester.
