Lincoln City strolled past Shrewsbury Town with a 1-0 win on Tuesday at Montgomery Waters Meadow. Shrewsbury Town were looking to continue their run, following a 1-0 victory against Blackpool. Lincoln City were beaten 2-1 in the previous match against Hull City. As the table looks today, Shrewsbury Town and Lincoln City currently occupy 17th and 3rd spots in the table, with 53 points and 75 points respectively after 24 matches.

Lincoln City started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, thanks to a goal from Jorge Grant at the 11 minute mark, seeing out the first half 0-1. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.
