Plymouth Argyle enjoyed a mesmerising home victory against Burton Albion at Home Park on Saturday. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Burton Albion, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. Plymouth Argyle scored first, thanks to Conor Grant giving Plymouth Argyle the lead in the 15th minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Ryan Broom made it 2-0 just before half-time to see out the first half 2-0.
Burton Albion took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Lucas Akins, 59 minutes in. When the final wisthle blew, the result was 2-1 to Plymouth Argyle.
Both coaches used all available substitutions. For Plymouth Argyle, Joe Edwards, Danny Mayor and Adam Randell, came on for Jordan Garrick, Panutche Camara and Kieran Agard, Burton Albion brought on Daniel Jebbison, Harry Chapman and Jacob Maddox to replace Kane Hemmings, Jonny Smith and Ryan Leak.
