Oxford United 0 – Wycombe 0: Both sides unable to find the net and the win

On Saturday, Oxford United and Wycombe were held to a 0-0 draw at Kassam Stadium. Both teams arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Oxford United were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to AFC Wimbledon. Wycombe were beaten 3-1 in the previous match against Sunderland AFC. As the table looks today, both teams are on 11 points and sit in 10th and 9th places respectively after 7 matches.

Oxford United brought on Nathan Holland, Sam Long and Daniel Agyei for Anthony Forde, Mark Sykes and Matty Taylor. Wycombe brought on Daryl Horgan, Adebayo Akinfenwa and David Wheeler, to replace Brandon Hanlan, Sam Vokes and Jordan Obita.

There were bookings for Matty Taylor, Jack Stevens, Alex Gorrin and Cameron Brannagan from Oxford United. For Wycombe, Curtis Thompson saw yellow.

Oxford United will next travel to Cheltenham Town, while Wycombe will face Charlton Athletic at home.
