Lincoln City, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 2-1 win against Burton Albion in their last match. As things stand, Morecambe FC are in 11th place, with 14 points from 10 matches, while Lincoln City sit in 17th, with 11 points from 10.
Following a goalless first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on Morecambe FC who started the second half well, thanks to Cole Stockton giving Morecambe FC the lead, 53 minutes in. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Scott Wootton in the 79th minute with a final score of 2-0.
Morecambe FC brought on Callum Jones, Ryan Delaney and Jonah Ayunga for Adam Phillips, Wes McDonald and Arthur Gnahoua. Lincoln City brought on Teddy Bishop, Cohen Bramall and Remy Longdon, to replace Hakeeb Adelakun, Lasse Sorensen and Daniel N`Lundulu.
