Rochdale defeat Milton Keynes Dons 3-0 on Sunday at Stadium Mk. Milton Keynes Dons wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Fleetwood Town in their previous game. Rochdale, on the other hand, were beaten 2-1 in the previous match against Doncaster Rovers. Following the final whistle at the end of the last game of the League One season, Milton Keynes Dons are in 13th place on the table and has 65 points while Rochdale sit in 21st with 47 points after 46 matches.
Rochdale started the first half well, with Aaron Morley opening the rout just before half-time, seeing out the first half 0-1.
Rochdale fought back, with an early goal from Jimmy Keohane in the 50th minute. Rochdale then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Stephen Humphrys just before the final whistle to make it 3-0.
For Milton Keynes Dons, Louis Thompson, Matt O’Riley, Jay Bird and Brooklyn Ilunga, came on for Ethan Laird, Andrew Surman, Josh McEachran and Matt O’Riley. Rochdale brought on Alex Newby, Abraham Odoh, Stephen Humphrys, Jimmy Ryan and Ethan Brierley, to replace Conor Grant, Oliver Rathbone, Jake Beesley, Aaron Morley and Stephen Dooley.
