Fleetwood Town, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Cambridge Utd. As it stands, Milton Keynes Dons and Fleetwood Town currently occupy 3rd and 20th spots in the table, with 19 points and 10 points respectively after 10 matches.
Fleetwood Town started the game well, with Gerard Garner finding the net, 12 minutes in. However, they were unable to maintain their lead, Scott Twine managed to equalize and take the sides off in the 27th minute at 1-1. However, each side looked hungry to win and Fleetwood Town then found the back of the net, at 32 minutes thanks to Gerard Garner, taking the score to 2-1. However, their lead was short lived, as Scott Twine equalised for Milton Keynes Dons in the 39th minute and the first half ended 2-2.
Milton Keynes Dons took the lead in the second half, thanks to Scott Twine finding the net again at the 73 minute mark. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Daniel Batty equalised for Fleetwood Town just before the final whistle. The game ended wih a 3-3 draw.
Milton Keynes Dons will next play Doncaster Rovers away, with Fleetwood Town facing Charlton Athletic at home.
