Milton Keynes Dons, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-1 victory against Charlton Athletic. Ipswich Town started strongly in the first half, thanks to Macauley Bonne giving Ipswich Town the lead, 16 minutes in, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.

However, each side looked hungry to win and Ipswich Town then found the back of the net, 72 minutes in thanks to Macauley Bonne, taking the score to 2-1.
