Plymouth Argyle suffered an away defeat to Gillingham FC at Mems Priestfield Stadium on Sunday. Gillingham FC were looking for a victory after a 1-1 draw against Burton Albion. Plymouth Argyle, on the other hand, lost 3-1 in the last match they played against Sunderland AFC. Following the final whistle at the end of the last game of the League One season, Gillingham FC are in 10th place on the table and has 67 points while Plymouth Argyle sit in 18th with 53 points after 46 matches.

Gillingham FC started the first half well, with a goal from Vadaine Oliver at the 28 minute mark. They then managed to see out the first half 1-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.
