Doncaster Rovers were defeated at home by Fleetwood Town at Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Doncaster Rovers were looking to get back winning ways after losing 2-1 to Accrington Stanley in their last match. Fleetwood Town had lost their previous match against Crewe Alexandra. As the table looks today, Doncaster Rovers and Fleetwood Town sit 13th, (60 points) and 14th, (59 points), in the table respectively, after 44 matches.
After an un-eventful first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on Fleetwood Town who started the second half well, with a goal from Barrie McKay, 51 minutes in, leaving the final score at 1-0.
For Doncaster Rovers, John Bostock, James Coppinger and Branden Horton, came on for Scott Robertson, Tyreece John-Jules and Josh Sims. Fleetwood Town brought on Gerard Garner, to replace Kyle Vassell.
The referee booked Jordan Rossiter for Fleetwood Town.
Doncaster Rovers will play away against Rochdale, while Fleetwood Town will face Milton Keynes Dons at home.
