AFC Wimbledon were held to 1-1 draw by Gillingham FC down on Tuesday at Plough Lane. AFC Wimbledon wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town in their previous game while Gillingham FC had lost their previous match against Shrewsbury Town. As the table looks today, AFC Wimbledon are currently 15th with 6 points from 3 matches, while Gillingham FC sit in 16th, with 5 points from 3.

After a goalless first half, AFC Wimbledon took the initiative in the second half, thanks to Ollie Palmer giving AFC Wimbledon the lead, 85 minutes in. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Paul Kalambayi equalised for Gillingham FC just before the final whistle and seeing the game end 1-1.

AFC Wimbledon brought on Luke McCormick, Ollie Palmer and Ethan Chislett for Paul Osew, Aaron Pressley and Dapo Mebude. Gillingham FC brought on Harvey Lintott, Mustapha Carayol and Rhys Bennett, to replace Robbie McKenzie, Danny Lloyd and Ben Reeves.
