On Saturday, AFC Wimbledon and Burton Albion were held to a 1-1 draw at Plough Lane. AFC Wimbledon arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 3-0 to Rotherham United. Burton Albion were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-1 victory against Portsmouth FC. As the table looks today, AFC Wimbledon are currently 14th with 13 points from 11 matches, while Burton Albion sit in 9th, with 16 points from 11.

After an un-eventful first half, Burton Albion fought back the second half, thanks to Kane Hemmings giving Burton Albion the lead in the 66th minute. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Luke McCormick equalised for AFC Wimbledon just before the final whistle and seeing the game end 1-1.

Both managers used the full entitlement. For AFC Wimbledon, Nesta Guinness-Walker, Dapo Mebude and Ethan Chislett, came on for Henry Lawrence, Jack Rudoni and Luke McCormick, Burton Albion brought on Bryn Morris, Kane Hemmings and Jacob Maddox, to replace John Brayford, Charlie Lakin and Harry Chapman.

The referee booked two players from Burton Albion, Tom Hamer and Adedeji Oshilaja.

Burton Albion and AFC Wimbledon will next play away to Plymouth Argyle and Milton Keynes Dons respectively.
