If you read Jose’s writing, you would never think that he is anything but professional. However, he is the joker of our team.

On Sunday, Seville suffer an away defeat to Villarreal at the Estadio de la Ceramica. Both Villarreal and Seville arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Villarreal were looking to pick up points, following a 2-0 victory against Real Valladolid. Seville were able to continue their winning streak after a 1-0 win against Valencia in their last match. At the moment, Villarreal and Seville currently occupy 7th and 4th spots in the table, with 58 points and 74 points respectively after 37 matches.

The Yellow Submarine started the first half well, with Carlos Bacca opening the rout in the 34th minute. Villarreal then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a effort from Carlos Bacca just before half-time to secure a 2-0 win.

Villarreal continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Gerard Moreno finding the net at the 66 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Carlos Bacca made it 4-0 at the 79 minute mark to make it 4-0.

For Villarreal, Daniel Raba, Alex Baena, Fer Nino, Francis Coquelin and Jaume Costa, came on for Yeremi Pino, Gerard Moreno, Carlos Bacca, Dani Parejo and Alberto Moreno. Seville brought on Youssef En-Nesyri, Nemanja Gudelj, Oscar, Munir El Haddadi and Franco Vazquez, to replace Luuk De Jong, Papu Gomez, Suso, Ivan Rakitic and Lucas Ocampos.

Villarreal will next travel to R Madrid, while Seville will face Alaves at home.
