On Friday, Levante and Real Valladolid were held to a 2-2 draw at Ciutat de Valencia. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Levante wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Cádiz in their previous game. Real Valladolid secured a point against Elche in their previous match. As the table looks today, Levante and Real Valladolid sit 10th, (23 points) and 15th, (20 points), in the league respectively, after 20 matches.

After a goalless first half, Levante took the initiative in the second half, beginning with a goal from Dani Gomez in the 62nd minute. However, their lead was short lived, as an equalizer from a goal from Ruben Alcaraz, 73 minutes in brought Real Valladolid level. Later, Real Valladolid scored again thanks to a goal from Oscar Plano, 78 minutes in to establish the 2-1. However, they didn’t maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from a Roger Marti in minute 83 brought Levante level, and the game ended 2-2.

For Levante Son, Sergio Leon, Gonzalo Melero, Ruben Rochina and Enis Bardhi came on for Jorge De Frutos Sebastian, Dani Gomez, Mickael Malsa, Jose Luis Morales and Jorge Miramon, while Valladolid brought on Kuki Zalazar, Pablo Hervias and Kike Perez to replace Toni Villa, Fabian Orellana and Oscar Plano.

The referee booked Toni Villa for Real Valladolid.
