Valencia 3 – Alaves 0- Plenty of goals as The Bats get the home win

Valencia vs. Alaves

Valencia eased past Alaves in a 3-0 victory on Friday at the Mestalla. Valencia wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Granada in their previous game. Alaves lost 1-0 in the last match they played against Mallorca. As the table looks today, Valencia and Alaves currently occupy 1st and 20th spots in the table, with 7 points and 0 points respectively after 3 matches.

Valencia didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, with an early goal from Daniel Wass in the 3rd minute. The Bats then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Carlos Soler just before half-time and the first half ended 2-0.

Valencia continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Goncalo Guedes, 60 minutes in. The game ended with a 3-0 home victory.

For Valencia, Marcos De Sousa, Uros Racic, Mouctar Diakhaby, Yunus Musah and Jesus Vazquez, came on for Goncalo Guedes, Hugo Guillamon, Omar Alderete, Daniel Wass and Denis Cheryshev. Alaves brought on Luis Rioja, Pere Pons, Mamadou Sylla, Edgar Mendez and Toni Moya, to replace Manu Garcia, Mamadou Loum, John Guidetti, Facundo Pellistri and Tomas Pina.

There were bookings for Mouctar Diakhaby from Valencia, and Florian Lejeune, Mamadou Loum, Fernando Pacheco and Matt Miazga, for Alaves.

Alaves and Valencia will next play away to Villarreal and Osasuna respectively.
