Levante fell to an away defeat at the hands of Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena on Saturday. Real were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Levante, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, Real and Levante currently occupy 5th and 14th spots in the table, with 6 points and 2 points respectively after 3 matches.

It was an impressive opening from The White and Blues, thanks to Ander Barrenetxea giving Real the lead just before half-time Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

For Real, Portu, Adnan Januzaj, Robert Navarro, Joseba Zaldua and Alexander Sorloth, came on for Mikel Oyarzabal, Ander Barrenetxea, David Silva, Andoni Gorosabel and Alexander Isak. Levante brought on Jose Luis Morales, Jorge De Frutos Sebastian and Pablo Martinez, to replace Enis Bardhi, Alejandro Cantero and Nemanja Radoja.

There were bookings for Andoni Gorosabel from Real. For Levante, Alejandro Cantero saw yellow.

Real will play away against Cádiz, while Levante will face Rayo Vallecano at home.
