Betis were held to 2-2 draw by Valencia down on Sunday at the Estadio Benito Villamarin. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Betis wanted to improve their league standing after a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid. Valencia were unable to beat Real Sociedad in a 2-2 draw. The first half of the game started favourably for Betis, thanks to Nabil Fekir giving Betis the lead in the 12th minute. However, the good fortune didn’t last for long. An equalizer from Goncalo Guedes at the 22 minute mark brought Valencia level. However, The Green-and-Whites just before half-time reestablished their lead via a Sergio Canales goal, to take a 2-1 lead into half time.

The Bats took the initiative in the second half, with Carlos Soler finding the net in the 61st minute, leaving the final score at 2-2.

For Betis, Borja Iglesias, Diego Lainez, Juan Miranda, William Carvalho and Aitor Ruibal, came on for Juanmi, Joaquin, Alex Moreno, Nabil Fekir and Cristian Tello.
