Rayo 4 – Granada 0: Nasrids sunk with 4 goals at Estadio de Vallecas

Rayo Vallecano strolled past Granada with a 4-0 win on Sunday at Estadio de Vallecas. Rayo were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last game 1-0 to Real Sociedad. Granada, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Valencia. As the table looks today, Rayo and Granada are 10th, (3 points) and 17th, (2 points), in the league respectively, after 3 matches.

Rayo didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, with an early goal from Alvaro Garcia in the 3rd minute. Rayo looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a goal from Oscar Trejo, 23 minutes in to establish a 2-0. However they weren’t finished yet and Randy Nteka made it 3-0 just before half-time and the first half ended 3-0.

Rayo continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Santi Comesana finding the net in the 58th minute. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 4-0.

For Rayo, Óscar Valentín, Isi Palazon, Andres Martín, Bebe and Kevin Rodrigues, came on for Pathe Ciss, Martin Merquelanz, Oscar Trejo, Randy Nteka and Alvaro Garcia. Granada brought on Jorge Molina, Yan Eteki, Quini, Ruben Rochina and Monchu, to replace Antonio Puertas, Luis Milla, Victor Diaz, Luis Suarez and Angel Montoro.

Rayo will next travel to Levante, while Granada will face Real Betis at home.
