Sunday’s fixture between Getafe and Alavés delivered a goalless draw at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Getafe were looking to get back winning ways, following a previous defeat to Athletic Bilbao while Alavés were beaten 4-1 in the previous match against Real Madrid. As the table looks today, Getafe and Alavés currently occupy 11th and 18th spots in the league, with 24 points and 19 points respectively after 21 matches.

For Getafe Francisco Portillo and Angel Rodriguez came on for Takefusa Kubo and Carles Alena, while Alavés brought on Rodrigo Battaglia, Adrian Marin and Jota to replace Deyverson, Luis Rioja and Martin Aguirregabiria.

There were bookings for Mauro Arambarri, Damian Suarez and Ruben Yanez from Getafe and Florian Lejeune, Manu Garcia and Ximo Navarro for Alavés.

Getafe will next play Sevilla away, with Alavés facing Real Valladolid at home.
