If you read Jose’s writing, you would never think that he is anything but professional. However, he is the joker of our team.

Huesca eased past Athletic Bilbao in a 1-0 victory on Wednesday at El Alcoraz. Huesca were looking to get back winning ways after losing 2-1 to Cádiz in their previous fixture. Athletic Bilbao had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Osasuna. As it stands, Huesca and Athletic Bilbao currently occupy 17th and 9th spots in the table, with 33 points and 46 points respectively after 36 matches.

Following a goalless first half, Huesca piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Sandro Ramirez giving Huesca the lead in the 61st minute. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 1-0.

For Huesca, Idrissa Doumbia, Sergio Gomez, Dani Escriche, Pedro Lopez and Pedro Mosquera, came on for Sandro Ramirez, Mikel Rico, Javi Galan, Pablo Maffeo and David Ferreiro. Athletic Bilbao brought on Raul Garcia, Alex Berenguer, Unai Vencedor and Inaki Williams, to replace Jon Morcillo, Ibai Gomez, Mikel Vesga and Asier Villalibre.

The referee booked Unai Lopez for Athletic Bilbao.

Huesca will play away against Real Betis, while Athletic Bilbao will face R Madrid at home.
