Granada were held to 1-1 draw by Valencia down on Saturday at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes. Granada arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a scoreless draw against Villarreal in their previous match. Valencia were coming from a 1-0 win against Getafe. As the table looks today, Granada are in 9th place on the table and has 2 points while Valencia sit in 2nd with 4 points after 2 matches.

The first half of the game started favourably for Granada, thanks to Luis Suarez finding the net in the 16th minute, which saw the first half end 1-0.

The Bats took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Carlos Soler just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-1.
