Levante were held to 2-2 draw by Granada down on Saturday at the Ciutat de Valencia. Levante were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Granada had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Celta Vigo. As it stands, Levante and Granada currently occupy 9th and 8th spots in the league, with 27 points and 30 points respectively after 22 matches.
It was an impressive opening from Levante, with a goal from Jose Luis Morales in the 30th minute. However, they didn’t maintain the lead for long though, an equalizer from a Robert Kenedy just before half-time brought Granada level to see out the first half 1-1.
Levante took the lead in the second half, thanks to a new goal from Jose Luis Morales, scoring his second goal, 67 minutes in. However, their lead didn’t last for long, as an equalizer from a Roberto Soldado just before the final whistle brought Granada level, and the game ended 2-2.
For Levante Dani Gomez, Jorge De Frutos Sebastian, Son, Sergio Postigo and Enis Bardhi came on for Sergio Leon, Ruben Rochina, Jose Luis Morales, Jorge Miramon and Roger Marti, while Granada replaced Antonio Puertas, Darwin Machis, Fede Vico, Roberto Soldado and German Sanchez with Adrian Marin, Robert Kenedy, Yan Eteki, Jorge Molina and Nehuen Perez.
