Elche were held to 1-1 draw by Seville down on Saturday at Estadio Martínez Valero. As it stands, Elche are in 15th place on the table and has 2 points while Seville sit in 2nd with 7 points after 3 matches.

Elche started the game well, thanks to Enzo Roco giving Elche the lead at the 11 minute mark. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Youssef En-Nesyri equalised for Seville just before half-time, to take a 1-1 lead into half time. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-1 at full time.

For Elche, Pere Milla, Helibelton Palacios, Guido Carrillo and Josema, came on for Lucas Boye, Gonzalo Verdu, Enzo Roco and Dario Benedetto. The referee booked Gonzalo Verdu and Fidel for Elche.
