Eibar were held to 1-1 draw by Betis down on Thursday at Ipurua Municipal Stadium. Both Eibar and Betis arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Eibar were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning their previous two matches against Getafe away and Alaves at home, by 1-0 and 3-0 respectively. Betis, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 2-1 win against Granada in their last match. As the table looks today, Eibar are in 20th place, with 30 points from 36 matches, while Betis sit in 6th, with 55 points from 36.

Betis found the net first, thanks to an early goal from Andres Guardado in the 4th minute, to take a 0-1 lead into half time.

Eibar took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Sergi Enrich, 83 minutes in. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.
