On Saturday, Eibar and Huesca were held to a 1-1 draw at Ipurua Municipal Stadium. Eibar were looking to get back winning ways after losing 1-0 to Elche in their previous fixture. Huesca, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 3-2 victory against Granada. As it stands, Eibar and Huesca currently occupy 16th and 20th spots in the table, with 22 points and 20 points respectively after 25 matches.

After a goalless first half, Huesca took the initiative in the second half, beginning with Sandro Ramirez opening the scoring in the 81st minute. However, their lead was short lived, with an equalizer from a Pape Diop in the 83rd minute brought Eibar level, levelled the score at 1-1 draw.

For Eibar, Anaitz Arbilla, Yoshinori Muto, Rafa Soares, Kevin Rodrigues and Aleix Garcia came on for Idrissa Doumbia, Dani Escriche, Pablo Maffeo and Rafa Mir, while Huesca replaced Mikel Rico, Sandro Ramirez, Pedro Lopez and Sergio Gomez with Idrissa Doumbia, Dani Escriche, Pablo Maffeo and Rafa Mir.

There were bookings for Jose Angel and Pedro Leon from Eibar and Javi Galan and Pablo Maffeo for Huesca.

Eibar will next travel to Cádiz, while Huesca will face Celta Vigo at home.
