After an un-eventful first half, Real continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Mikel Oyarzabal, 71 minutes in. The White and Blues then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a second effort from Mikel Oyarzabal in the 84th minute with a final score of 2-0.
For Cádiz, Alvaro Jimenez, Tomás Alarcon, Milutin Osmajic and Martin Calderon, came on for Alvaro Negredo, Alex, Jens Jonsson and Isaac Carcelén.
