If you read Jose’s writing, you would never think that he is anything but professional. However, he is the joker of our team.

Cádiz were defeated at home by R Madrid at Estadio Ramon de Carranza on Wednesday. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Cádiz arrived with the intention of increasing their league score after a scoreless draw against Celta Vigo in their previous match. RMA are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As the table looks today, Cádiz and RMA currently occupy 13th and 1st spots in the table, with 36 points and 70 points respectively after 31 matches.

Los Blancos dominated the first half, with Karim Benzema opening the rout at the 30 minute mark. RMA looked to have the game under control when they scored again and incerased their lead, thanks to a goal from Alvaro Odriozola, on 33 minutes to establish a 2-0. However they weren’t finished yet and Karim Benzema made it 3-0 just before half-time. The score at half time was 0-3. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 3-0.

For Cádiz, Ivan Saponjic, Juan Cala, Anthony Lozano, Carlos Akapo and Ivan Alejo, came on for Vinicius Junior, Alvaro Odriozola, Raphael Varane, Marcelo and Karim Benzema. RMA replaced Marco Asensio, Isco, Dani Carvajal, Miguel Gutierrez and Mariano Diaz with Vinicius Junior, Alvaro Odriozola, Raphael Varane, Marcelo and Karim Benzema.

There were bookings for Salvi Sanchez, Isaac Carcelen, Jens Jonsson and Carlos Akapo from Cádiz. For RMA, Raphael Varane, Nacho and Marcelo saw yellow.
