Barca 3 – Levante 0: Los Blaugranas on fire, putting 3 past The Frogs at home

Levante on away loss to Barca at the Nou Camp on Sunday. Barca wanted to improve their league standing after a scoreless draw against Cádiz in their previous match. Levante, on the other hand, were beaten 2-0 in the previous match against Celta Vigo. After today’s result, Barca are currently 5th with 12 points from 7 matches, while Levante sit in 17th, with 4 points from 7.

Los Blaugranas didn’t take long to get on the score-sheet, with Memphis Depay opening the rout early in the first half. Barca then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Luuk De Jong at the 14 minute mark, finalising the first half 2-0.

Barca continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Ansu Fati finding the net just before the final whistle. The game ended 3-0 to Barca.

For Barca, Riqui Puig, Ansu Fati, Yusuf Demir, Ronald Araujo and Clement Lenglet, came on for Philippe Coutinho, Luuk De Jong, Gavi, Óscar Mingueza and Sergino Dest. Levante replaced Jose Luis Morales, Pablo Martinez, Alejandro Cantero, Nikola Vukcevic and Rober Pier with Dani Gomez, Nemanja Radoja, Jorge De Frutos Sebastian, Pepelu and Shkodran Mustafi.

There were bookings for Gavi from Barca. For Levante, Sergio Postigo, Pepelu and Carlos Clerc saw yellow.

Levante and Barca will next play away to Mallorca and Atletico Madrid respectively.
