Italy started the second half with an intensified spirit, with Locatelli finding the net again at the 52 minute mark. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Immobile just before the final whistle to make it 3-0.

The referee booked Gavranovic and Embolo for Switzerland.
