Brecia Calcio 4-3 Pisa – Visitors leave with nothing, as Brescia secure 4-3 home win against PIS

Brecia Calcio beats Pisa 4-3 on Friday at Stadio Mario Rigamonti. Brescia were looking to continue their run after winning their previous two games against Vicenza away and SPAL at home, by 3-0 and 3-1 respectively whilst PIS had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Venezia. After today’s result, Brescia are in 8th place, with 53 points from 37 matches, while PIS sit in 13th, with 45 points from 37.

PIS started strongly in the first half, with a goal from Marin, 9 minutes in. However, their lead was short lived, as Aye equalised for Brescia, 18 minutes in, to take a 1-1 lead into half time.

Brescia started the second half with renewed vigour, thanks to a goal from Donnarumma in the 52nd minute. The momentum was now with Brescia, who then scored again through a effort from Aye at the 65 minute mark to establish a 3-1. However, PIS weren’t lying down and managed to pull back a goal from De Vitis at the 68 minute mark. However, Brescia increased their advantage 4-2 thanks to a hat trick effort from Aye in the 82nd minute. In the end though, PIS just before the final whistle hit back though following a Sibilli goal and seeing the game end 4-3.

For Brescia, Ndoj, Labojko, Pajač, Ragusa and Spalek, came on for Van De Looi, Bisoli, Martella, Bjarnason and Donnarumma. PIS replaced Lisi, Belli and Bamba Susso with Pisano, Lisi and Mastinu.

The referee booked Jagiello, Martella, Mangraviti and Mateju for Brescia.

Brescia will next travel to AC Monza, while PIS will face Virtus Entella at home.
