Netherlands defeat North Macedonia 3-0 on Monday at Johan Cruyff Arena. Following the final whistle at the end of the last game of the European Championship group stage, North Macedonia are in 4th place on the table and has zero points while Netherlands sit in 1st with 9 points after three matches.

Netherlands started strongly in the first half, with Depay opening the rout in the 24th minute, to take a 0-1 lead into half time.

Netherlands started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, with Wijnaldum finding the net, on 51 minutes. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a second effort from Wijnaldum at the 58 minute mark with a final score of 3-0.

For North Macedonia, Churlinov, Hasani, Kostadinov, Stojanovski and Nikolov, came on for Tričkovski, Trajkovski, Pandev, Bardhi and Ademi. Netherlands replaced Timber, Berghuis, Promes, Weghorst and Gakpo with De Vrij, Dumfries, Malen, Depay and De Jong.
