Germany vs. Hungary

Germany and Hungary ended their participation in the competition with a draw 2-2. This left, Germany are in 2nd place on the table and has 4 points while Hungary sit in 4th with 2 points after 3 matches.

Hungary started the game well, thanks to Ádám Szalai giving The Hungarians the lead, on 11 minutes. The score at half time was 0-1.

The Germans took the initiative in the second half, with Havertz finding the net in the 66th minute. However, each side looked hungry to win and Hungary then found the back of the net, 68 minutes in thanks to Schafer, taking the score to 2-1. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Goretzka equalised for Germany at the 84 minute mark. The game ended wih a 2-2 draw.

For Germany, Goretzka, Werner, Müller, Volland and Musiala, came on for Gündogan, Gnabry, Havertz, Ginter and Gosens. Hungary brought on Schön, Varga, Nikolić and Lovrencsics, to replace Sallai, Ádám Szalai, Fiola and Kleinheisler.

There were bookings for Gündogan and Sané from Germany, and Botka, Ádám Szalai and Fiola, for Hungary.
