England 2 – Germany 0- The Germans unable to avoid defeat at Wembley Stadium

England vs. Germany

England move to the next round of the European Championship after a rewarding victory against Germany, winning 2-0 on the day.

After an un-eventful first half, England applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Sterling giving England the lead, 75 minutes in. However they weren't finished yet and Kane made it 2-0 just before the final whistle with a final score of 2-0.

Both teams used all available substitutes. For England, Grealish and Henderson, came on for Saka and Rice, Germany brought on Gnabry, Sané, Can and Musiala, to replace Werner, Gosens, Ginter and Müller.

There were bookings for Rice, Phillips and Maguire from England, and Ginter and Gosens, for Germany.

So The Three Lions will now advance to the next stage of the competition, but will know that tough opposition lies in wait for them.
