Croatia secures a 3-1 win against Scotland at Hampden Park on Tuesday. This left, Croatia and Scotland are 2nd (4 points) and 4th (1 point) in the table respectively, after a total of 3 matches.
It was an impressive opening from Croatia, with Vlasic finding the net in the 17th minute. However, their lead was short lived, as Mcgregor equalised for The Scots just before half-time, which brought Steve Clarke’s squad level at 1-1 at the half time break
The Croats continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Modrić giving The Croats the lead, 62 minutes in. Croatia then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Perišić at the 77 minute mark to make it 3-1.
