Belgium move to the next round of the European Championship after a rewarding victory against Portugal, winning 1-0 on the day.

Belgium started the first half well, thanks to a goal from Hazard just before half-time Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.

For Belgium, Mertens, Carrasco and Dendoncker, came on for De Bruyne, Hazard and Hazard. Portugal brought on João Félix, Bruno Fernandes, André Silva, Pereira and Sergio Oliveira, to replace João Moutinho, Bernardo Silva, Diogo Jota, Palhinha and Renato Sanches.
