Leeds beat Crystal Palace with a thumping 2-0 victory on Monday at Elland Road. Leeds United were looking forward to meeting again after losing their last game 2-1 to Everton. Crystal Palace were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers. As the table looks today, Leeds United and Crystal Palace are 10th, (32 points) and 13th, (29 points), spots respectively, after 23 matches.

Leeds United started the first half well, following early goal from Jack Harrison in the 3rd minute, thereby seeing the first half to a 1-0.

The second half started in favour of Leeds United, beginning with a goal from Patrick Bamford in minute 52, and the game ended 2-0.

For Leeds United Jamie Shackleton came on for Kalvin Phillips, while Palace brought on Andros Townsend, Michy Batshuayi and Christian Benteke to replace Patrick Van Aanholt, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jordan Ayew.
