Norwich strolled past Coventry with a 2-0 win on Wednesday at St Andrew’s Stadium. Coventry City were looking forward to meeting again after losing their last game 3-1 to Cardiff City. Norwich City, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 4-1 victory against Stoke City. As it stands, Coventry City are in 20th place on the table and has 31 points while Norwich City sit in 1st with 61 points after 30 matches.
The first half of the game started favourably for Norwich City, following a goal from Teemu Pukki in the 29th minute. Later, Norwich City took the lead with a goal form a goal from Emiliano Buendia in the 45th minute just before half-time, to take a 2-0 lead into half time. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 2-0.
For Coventry City Leo Ostigard, Maxime Biamou, Josh Pask, Viktor Gyokeres and Liam Kelly came on for Michael Rose, Jamie Allen, Julien Da Costa, Tyler Walker and Matty James, while Norwich brought on Kieran Dowell, Lukas Rupp, Christoph Zimmermann, Adam Idah and Alexander Tettey to replace Mario Vrancic, Todd Cantwell, Emiliano Buendia, Teemu Pukki and Oliver Skipp.
