Wycombe Wanderers strolled past Bournemouth with a 1-0 win on Saturday at Adams Park. With each team arriving on the back of a league defeat, they were both keen to pick up points. Wycombe were looking to get back winning ways after losing their last game 2-1 to Cardiff City. Bournemouth lost 1-0 in the last match they played against Brentford. As the table looks today, Wycombe and Bournemouth sit 24th, (40 points) and 5th, (77 points), spots respectively, after 45 matches.

It was an impressive opening from Wycombe, with an early goal from Uche Ikpeazu in the 4th minute, ending the first half 1-0. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 1-0.

For Wycombe, Josh Knight, David Wheeler, Jordan Obita and Ryan Tafazolli, came on for Dennis Adeniran, Jack Grimmer, Curtis Thompson and Josh Knight. Bournemouth brought on Jaidon Anthony, Shane Long and Jordan Zemura, to replace Junior Stanislas, David Brooks and Diego Rico Salguero.

There were bookings for Joe Jacobson from Wycombe, and Jack Wilshere, for Bournemouth.

Wycombe will next travel to Middlesbrough, while Bournemouth will face Stoke City at home.
