On Saturday, West Brom and Millwall were held to a 1-1 draw at The Hawthorns. Both West Brom and Millwall arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. West Brom were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two games against Peterborough United away and Blackburn Rovers away, by 1-0 and 2-1 respectively. Millwall were coming off the back of a 2-1 win against Blackpool. As the table looks today, West Brom and Millwall currently occupy 2nd and 18th spots in the table, with 13 points and 5 points respectively after 6 matches.
Following a goalless first half, West Brom certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, with an early goal from Kyle Bartley in the 49th minute. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Danny Ballard equalised for Millwall, 55 minutes in and seeing the game end 1-1.
For West Brom, Jordan Hugill and Callum Robinson, came on for Grady Diangana and Karlan Grant. Millwall brought on Ryan Leonard and Mason Bennett, to replace Billy Mitchell and Sheyi Ojo.
