West Brom 0 – Derby 0- The Baggies crowd must settle for goal-less draw

Tuesday’s fixture between West Brom and Derby delivered a goalless draw at The Hawthorns. West Brom wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Millwall in their previous game. Derby were beaten 2-0 in the previous match against Birmingham City. After today’s result, West Brom are in 2nd place on the table and has 15 points while Derby sit in 14th with 7 points after 7 matches.

Both managers used all substitutions. For West Brom, Jordan Hugill, Matthew Phillips and Robert Snodgrass, came on for Karlan Grant, Callum Robinson and Jake Livermore, Derby brought on Jack Kirk Stretton, Tom Lawrence and Max Bird to replace Kamil Jozwiak, Sam Baldock and Jason Knight.

There were bookings for Jake Livermore from West Brom. For Derby, Lee Buchanan saw yellow.

West Brom will next travel to Preston North End, while Derby will face Stoke City at home.
